Masks & Usage at Kidsland

Masks are required in childcare facilities for children over 2 years old unless they are actively drinking/eating or if they can maintain sufficient social distancing during play! We are fortunate to count with a large indoor/outdoor space and only enforce the use of masks when we cannot maintain social distancing! Parents/Providers are required to wear masks at drop off/pick up when social distancing cannot be observed! Here are some of our recommendations regarding kids and COVID

Communication and Understanding

We consider the most important thing to do is to communicate to your child that we need to stay safe and that there’s nothing to be scared of. As long as we are cautious, we are healthy! Learning starts at home so encourage hand washing, masks outside, and adequate coughing/sneezing!

Finding a mask that fits your child is a challenge! They put it in their mouth, it goes up to their eyes, or its too big all over! Here are some of our favorites as well as some highly recommended by other Kidsland parents!
